Hearts of Gold Holiday ProjectThe Holiday project was our first project and continues to be our main focus. The purpose of this project is to bring a smile and brighten the holiday for those who are facing financial difficulties. We assist families and senior citizens who would otherwise have a bleak holiday. Children ages newborn to 18 years old are given 2 new clothing outfits and 3-5 toys/gifts. We also give each family non-perishable food items, personal hygiene items and a food gift card to purchase perishable food items. When our budget permits we will also give household items such as sheets, blankets and towels. 2010 Holiday Distribution will be held on Saturday December 11th.
