Hearts of GoldHearts of Gold was incorporated in 2002. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization assisting people in financial need who live in Algonquin or Lake In The Hills Illinois. We were founded by a group of local individuals who saw a need within the community to help those struggling due to financial hardships. We are run entirely by volunteers and operate solely on donations. Hearts of Gold Assistance ProgramTemporary assistance through Hearts of Gold is provided through our three main projects in the form of new school supplies, new winter coats, snow pants, clothing, toys, and food for Christmas. We do not give cash or assist in any way with rent or utility bills. If you would like to receive assistance please complete the application and mail it to Hearts of Gold, PO Box 7806 Algonquin, IL 60102 or call 847-429-5923. You may send an email to pres@heartsofgold-il.org as well. Upon receipt of your application you will be called for an interview. All clients must re-qualify annually.
